8:20 Walking Bus for Primary School Children leave via Meols Park .
9:00 Children welcomed into Smarties; Self-registration; independent choice of play.

Activities take into account their needs, interests and abilities. These will be consistent with the Early Years Foundation Stage . Children utilise the main hall, the ‘messy room’, the ‘quiet room’, the 'Outside Classroom' and the garden to make full use of a wider range of activities, equipment and environments, including physical activity in the hall or garden outside. We follow Wirral’s preferred ‘Continuous Provision’ approach to delivering high quality learning.
Snacks and drinks are also provided which encourages children to learn about hygiene, try new foods from a healthy eating/drinking option, and to sit at tables and socialise. They also take turns to set the table and to clear up at the end. Those more able can select and pour themselves.
11:15 Tidy-up time; physical activity in main hall/garden; story time; song time; review of the day.
