Health and Safety

Obviously, your child’s health and safety is of the utmost importance and we need you to help us be stringent.

Therefore, please keep your child at home with any communicable illnesses; encourage regular washing after toileting and before eating or sharing toys; appreciate our promotion of healthy eating and drinking, and restrictions for allergy sufferers—no food brought into Smarties.

Please keep the main church doors closed at all times; last person in, please answer the door bell and only let known parents in after you. Please keep your children from climbing stacked chairs or going over the gate etc.

If you cannot collect your child, please advise a member of staff or complete the ‘collection book’, otherwise we cannot release your child.

Please review our Behaviour Management Policy and work with us to promote good behaviour and discourage unwanted behaviour, especially play-fighting.
